Contentment

Three rottweilers bounded through the morning waves on the sandy beach as the tall Simone trailed behind them. She laughed. Dressed not nearly warm enough for the cool morning air, she reached up, retying the back of a simple red halter top style bathing suit around the back of her neck.

It was beautiful here. A nice change from home.

In a small bag at her side, she had gathered pretty stones and shells that she had noticed along the way. In memory of times spent with her friends and mother, back when she was younger. They used to all do this. As a family.

She sighed, and walked knee deep into the water, not caring that some of the water splashed up, dampening her cut off shorts.

The beach was about getting sand in your toes, water on your clothes, and way more sun then you ever intended.

And

She realized as she went crashing into the water under Brutis

being bowled over by your pets.

She laughed, shoving the dog off, her wings fluttering a little in protest to try and right herself.

"You big doofus!" she giggled, backing out of the water. The three dogs followed, and one lay behind her once they were on the sand. She flopped back, resting her head on the dogs back as the other to lay at her sides.

Yeah, this was heaven~
