Lucifer sighed from atop his skeleton throne. What a bore everything was nowadays. He watched the members of hell, all countless mob of a mass as they were, toil and strain under his rule. Surely they wished for death to come again.
He praddled his fingers against the throne's armrest. The groans of agony disturbing his train of thought. He twitched. He pointed his finger into the mob of countless people, his voice thundering a command.
"SILENCE." and fire shot out of his black fingertip. He scorched all who stood in the way, the agonizing sounds becoming louder, yet not as many uttered them. He growled to himself, returning his hand to his face to rest his cheek. "What a dreadful bore." He said with a sigh.

The form of a large doberman walked into view of Lucifer, its head low, green eyes trained on him.
Chloria had finished another nights hunting, having reaped for her master two fresh beings. A child followed behind her, a small hand resting on the large beasts back.
It was this part that bothered her. But what must be done, must be done. She had a life to keep living, and he had a requirement she had to fullfill.
She turned her head to the child, wrapping massive jowls around its arm to yank it forward. He was scared, staring up at Lucifer with wide blue eyes.
Chloria butted her canine head into his back, shoving him towards her master. Offering him to the creature before her.

The dark beast grinned, getting up from his throne, his expression changing from bored to VERY amused. 'A child.' He thought with a sneer. He lowered his stance to a crouch, tracing the child's chin with his black claws.
"My boy, what is your name?" He grinned, his voice like gruff velvet. The boy shook, trembling in the King's grasp.
"Jacob." He responded, shaking terribly, his eyes starting to tear up. Where was he, and why was this demon so important? The dark monster's grin expanded dramatically.
"You have any parents left, dearest?" That made the poor child cry. He understood immediately, giving Chloria a look of pure satisfaction.

Chloria gave the demon a sullen look before she bowed her head. A few seconds later she stood in dress.
"Jacob," she breathed out, voice naturally airy despite its thick Russian accent, "You serve Lucifer now."
The woman flicked a long blonde braid back, ignoring the terrified, tear filled look the little boy gave her. She didn't want to think about what she'd done.
As if reading his thoughts, she sighed, "You run away, I haff dinner."

The boy looked back at Lucifer in disbelief, trembling. Lucifer cooed, smoothing the boy's hair.
"Oh, dear, dear Jacob. Do not be afraid. I will not harm you, sweet child." His eyes, golden and usually full of spite, were full of warmth, a fake front to try and not scare the child. He grinned. "How about we rename you, hn? I know~ How does Ickus sound?" The boy didn't do anything but nod.
The monster grinned, smoothing the boy's blonde hair. "Good! Good. Well then. How about we give you something special, hn? Ickus?" His eyes glew, embers from the molten lava around them bestowing upon the blonde, blue-eyed boy, a pair of black wings. Lucifer's eyes returned to their lusty golden state. He grinned.
"I give you to the care of my son, Aphrodite. Or..." His eyes snaked up to Chloria. "...does Chloria want you...?" He flicked his black tongue to lick his lips.

Chloria stared at Lucifer placidly, eyes trained on him. After a moment, she took a small step backwards, bowing her head.
"I will do as Master wishes." She hid the scowl that flickered on her features with practiced ease. She rathered working by herself, besides, the child had watched her in this from, suck the very souls from his parents.
"If to care for boy is what master wants,"she brought up her gaze slightly, "Then I must."

The beast clapped. "Wonderful! I was hoping you'd think as much. Aphrodite isn't........the most child friendly person." He puckered his lips slightly as the small boy continued to tremble, the nerves in his new wings still realigning with his brain.
Ickus sniffed, then looked over to Chloria, his eyes wide with fear. Lucifer grinned. "I think he likes you Chloria~."

Chloria didn't look at the boy, her voice gaining a slighty icey tone.
"Am I to carry these souls too?"
She wanted them out of her, it bothered her, hearing the thoughts of his parents as they sunk in her. She was just a tool, a carrying device to get Lucifer what she wanted. In that, she suffered a bit more 'knowledge' then she would like to have taken from her victims.

He grinned, then relieved her of the souls she carried.
"Well now, ONE of us is a new mother." A wild look entered his eyes as he implanted new thoughts into the small child's mind. The child blinked, looked up at Lucifer, then darted STRAIGHT for Chloria. He clung to her leg, shivering.
He held a smirk, shrugging his eyebrow while lowering his head slightly. This was all too amusing for him.

Chloria's expression was unreadable, but she caved, just a little, frail hand reaching up to rest on 'Ickus''s head. She couldn't understand why she had to be responsible for this child. Honestly, she thought she had been doing her master a favor, providing him another able body.
Her mistake.
Fingers knitted into Ickus' hair subconsciously as she looked away, eying the beings that worked endlessly. She almost pitied them. At least she, and now Ickus, had some kind of freedom.
"If that is all...?"

Lucifer snaked his way over to the new "Happy Family", grinning. Ickus cowered, knitting his hand into his "mother"s dress. Lucifer eyed her, then licked his lips with immense satisfaction. "That will be all, Chloria." And with that, he slithered his way back to his throne, a new, almost permanent smirk on his dark face.

Chloria turned, not bothering to tell Ickus to follow as she moved, dress moving fluidly around her ankles.
How in the world did that creature 'enjoy' this kind of thing?
She let out a sigh, reaching up a hand to push her bangs away from her face. Ickus followed her obediently, glancing over his shoulder once to the beast that had changed him.
Chloria's form changed, and she nudged the boy onto her back as she broke into a run, long lupine legs stretching as fast as they could carry her.
